For half a century the capital of Germany and today home to numerous national and international institutions, Bonn reveals itself not only as a political center, but also as a city rich in natural, cultural, and historical heritage.
Walking through Bonn, one senses the passage of time.

Roman Bonn, above all, remains a city of princes and musicians. It is the birthplace of one of the world’s greatest composers, Ludwig van Beethoven, whose legacy continues to define the city’s identity. In his honor, Bonn is widely known as the City of Beethoven, a place where music and history merge into a living cultural memory.
