DIARY OF THE HIGHLANDS — A Long-Form Visual Reportage Series

Nine stories unfold as a visual diary, tracing human encounters and everyday moments within the wide panoramas of the Strellc Highlands — high above the lowlands, yet never far from them. What sets the Strellc Highlands apart is this rare contrast: rising to around 1,400 meters above sea level, yet located just 17 kilometers from the lowlands.

Nine exclusive stories from the Strellc Highlands (2022–2025) Landscapes, local histories, and mountain life unfold across six hours of visual reportage, told through nine long-form films: “The Strellc Rhapsodist – Rrustem Beqiri,” “Seasons of the Highlands,” “Mountain Huts with Children and Livestock,” “When the Mountains Burn…,” “Riding Through the Strellc Highlands,” “Colors of the Highlands,” “From Tradition Toward the Future,” “Returning to the Mountain Hut,” and “Winter in the Highlands.” Filmed between 2022 and 2025, these reports capture life, memory, and everyday encounters within the wide and striking panoramas of the Strellc Highlands.
